About EcoVG Capital
EcoVG Capital is an investment fund focused on connecting promising companies with a strong network of investors and strategic capital partners. Our mission is to create meaningful investment opportunities while building long-term relationships among individual investors, family offices, institutional investors, and portfolio companies.
Through our proprietary deal origination platform, we identify and evaluate compelling investment opportunities and provide our investors with access to carefully selected deals. We also collaborate with angel investors, investment groups, General Partners (GPs), and other capital partners to support syndication and help companies successfully complete their funding rounds.
Beyond providing capital, EcoVG Capital works to create long-term value for its portfolio companies. We help companies strengthen their investor positioning, connect with potential co-investors, and access additional capital as they grow. Our network includes family offices, venture capital firms, strategic and corporate investors, and other funding partners.
Our goal is to build a strong investment ecosystem where capital is supported by experience, relationships, and strategic resources. We seek value-added partners who can contribute not only funding, but also industry expertise, due diligence support, strategic connections, and access to future investment opportunities—helping portfolio companies build sustainable paths to growth.

Our Leadership
Nathan McDonald
CEO & Managing PartnerNathan McDonald is the CEO & Managing Partner of EcoVG Capital, where he leads investment strategy, fund management, and investor engagement. With nearly two decades of experience in early-stage investing, he has helped support entrepreneurs, identify promising opportunities, and build strong relationships across the investment community.
With a strong background in entrepreneurial leadership and organizational development, Nathan has played an important role in developing investment structures, executing growth strategies, and coordinating large-scale investor initiatives. His experience in building investment networks and facilitating strategic capital partnerships has helped companies access the resources and funding needed to grow.
Nathan holds a BA in Business Administration & Finance from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business, with a focus on entrepreneurial leadership and venture finance. He also supports the next generation of entrepreneurs through his involvement with the Buerk Center Entrepreneur Alumni Committee, helping raise scholarship funds and create opportunities for aspiring innovators.
Brianna McDonald
Managing PartnerBrianna McDonald is an experienced investor and leader in the early-stage investment community, with nearly two decades of experience supporting entrepreneurs and investors. As Managing Partner of EcoVG Capital, she focuses on identifying strong investment opportunities, with an emphasis on companies that demonstrate clear capitalization strategies, effective governance, and sustainable paths to profitability.
Beyond investing, Brianna is actively involved in strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem through leadership and mentorship. She serves as a Moderator for EO Forums, Chair of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Advisory Board at Seattle University, and a member of the International Women’s Forum, contributing her experience to the development of entrepreneurs and emerging business leaders.
Brianna is passionate about advancing innovation and technology through Collaboration, Openness, Resilience, and Excellence (CORE). Her approach emphasizes transparency, adaptability, strong relationships, and high standards to create meaningful progress for entrepreneurs, investors, and the broader investment community.
